Tastes are different, they say. We at Safranccino agree with that and consider this circumstance as our culinary mission. As a young and dynamic company, we have therefore made it our business to combine the tastes of two cultures - Oriental spice meets European cuisine.

Thereby we always pursue the claim of sustainability and highest quality. From production to distribution: From the preparation of the farmland, through cultivation and harvesting, to processing and packaging, all processes are accompanied and controlled by our team on location. Our assortment is produced according to German food law under the strictest requirements in order to achieve constant quality assurance for Safranccino. We are convinced, that our saffron with its unique properties invigorates the senses and it gives our everyday life that certain extra.

Its excellent aroma rounds off food and drinks, its pigments provide a bright, intensive colour and even more: saffron is known in its native countries for its positive effects to exercise physical well-being. Therefore, it has been used for many centuries for a wide variety of purposes. Our saffron crocus grows in the Persian highlands and is traditionally bred - always under the supervision of our experts. The threads are removed by hand and processed individually. For one kilogram Saffron about 200,000 flowers are needed! Not for nothing is the gold of Persia the most precious spice in the world - and for us much more than that: Saffron is our philosophy.
